IQ Tests

Introduction

Two types of tests exist on IQ Olympiad: the Basic IQ Test and User-created IQ Tests. The Basic IQ test is a spatial reasoning test that does not require any prior knowledge and consists only of shapes. User-created IQ tests consist of various types of tests including verbal, numerical, and spatial.

Basic IQ Tests (BCT)

The Basic IQ test is a spatial reasoning test that does not require any prior knowledge and consists only of shapes. The IQ measurement interval is 85 to 145 (SD15). This test allows users to obtain their IQ. This test is mandatory for post activities on IQ Olympiad since other tests require a BCT score. The BCT IQ score is quite important as it serves as the background of user-created IQ test results. In detail, the scores from the Basic IQ test are combined with scores from user-created IQ tests to calculate integrated IQ scores.

User-created IQ Tests (UCT)

User-created IQ tests exist in three types: verbal, numerical, and spatial. This testing structure yields verbal intelligence in verbal types, mathematical intelligence in numerical types, and spatial reasoning intelligence in spatial types. The three types yield independent IQs, which are used to calculate the comprehensive IQ based on the unique IQ evaluation mechanism of IQ Olympiad. Comprehensive IQ will be used for future community activities and the IQ ranking system. User-created IQ testing measures up to 175+ (SD15). UCT’s official scoring table is determined by reflecting the scores of at least 30 candidates and their basic test scores.

Bonus IQ Quiz

The bonus IQ quiz is a refreshment quiz format that appears during break time after the completion of the BCT or a UCT. The bonus IQ quiz serves as advertisements or promotion sponsors. Advertisers can run interactive marketing programs in the form of bonus IQ quizzes within the IQ Olympiad. Users may earn tokens and points by completing bonus IQ quizzes.
